Level 1 course offers a well-rounded introduction to wine, focusing on wine tasting technique, major wines of the world, and food and wine pairing principles. Consider this class if you are relatively new to wine and would like to expand your knowledge and move to the next level.
The class consists of a total of in-person instruction, tasting and a multiple-choice exam at the end of the course.

Fees and requirements for Level 1 Exam re-take on a date where an exam is already scheduled
Rescheduling/Resit Fee (in-person exam): $90.00 plus tax (For students who took the course at Dallas Wine Education Center and failed a previous exam.)
Rescheduling/Resit Fee (online exam): $120.00 plus tax
Postponement Period: Students have 12 months from the start of their course to sit the exam; thereafter another exam fee applies.
