This is a discounted offering of the WSET Level 1 Wine Course and it offers added live tasting and review sessions with Dilek Caner, Master of Wine. It follows the WSET Level 1 curriculum and offers the same certification. For the moment we have only one section of this that starts on May 13th (deadline to register is May 6th) although we are planning to offer more if there is interest.
If you register for this version, you will be in time for our combination offerings of Levels 2 & 3, as well as the scholarships for the wine industry for each of these courses.

What does the course include?
The interactive course starts on May 13th and runs for four weeks, the initial two of which is tuition. In the last two weeks you are still able to access your instructor with questions. Your access to the online platform and study materials lasts for one year from your date of registration.
The online course platform contains weekly tasks, a group tasting area, multiple choice feedback tests and videos to help you understand the differences between grape varieties and types and styles of wine. You can access the material online at any time and complete the sections at your own pace. You’ll be able to ask your instructor questions, participate in discussions and share tasting notes with your classmates.
The course includes additional live online sessions with Dilek Caner, Master of Wine.
You progress through the course at a faster, yet achievable, pace, which allows more time and flexibility than the in-class WSET Level 1 course. It also features two 60 minute “live” online sessions where you meet with Dilek Caner, Master of Wine for presentations, questions and virtual tastings.

Exam date: To Be Announced once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. We’ll announce multiple exam dates that you can choose from. Currently the exams are offered only in Dallas, TX. We will soon be adding dates for Austin, TX and Oklahoma City, OK so email us if you have questions
WSET does not offer any online exam options.
How do I register?

After registering, you will receive your login credentials within three business days. You have access to the online platform for one year from your registration date.
FAQ
Will wines for the tastings be provided?
The wines are not provided, however, we will give you wine categories and you’ll be able to buy a wine that is locally available from that category. The categories of wines are listed above, and any available wine from that category will work.
Do I have to buy the wines covered in online tastings?
We recommend that you do, but it is optional.
Can I continue on to WSET Level 2 before I take the WSET Level 1 Exam?
Yes, you can continue your WSET studies and progress into the next level before you take your exam. You can take your exams subsequently once WSET starts offering them after the COVID restrictions.
