CSW is a qualification offered by the Society of Wine Educators. CSW qualification is widely recognized and once it is earned, the letters CSW can be used as a post-nominal.
The CSW Exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and the candidates are provided with one hour in which to complete the exam. A minimum score of 75% is needed to pass. The exam consists of questions on viticulture, winemaking, wine regions of the world, wine service and wine chemistry.
To take the CSW exam, the students must become a member of Society of Wine Educators. Membership at the SWE costs $85 annually and is separate from the exam or course fees listed below.
