This course combines online learning with an in-person tasting tutored by Dilek Caner, Master of Wine. In this hybrid version, you’ll have the convenience of taking the WSET Level 2 Course online while still having the opportunity to taste 20 wines from the curriculum in the WSET format.
WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits focuses on the main categories of wines with an emphasis on production methods, styles and the local and global wine markets. The course also has a spirits section that covers the main styles of spirits, their styles and production methods.
An online Level 2 Course offers all the lessons and exercises online but doesn’t have a tutored tasting component. However, in this hybrid version, you have the convenience of taking the WSET Level 2 Course online while still having the opportunity to taste 20 wines in the curriculum in the WSET format.
Following the tasting, a one-hour examination of 50 multiple choice questions will be conducted. The passing score for the examination is 55%.
This course is offered at a special TEXSOM price of $525 plus shipping ($20).
You can take WSET Level 2 at TEXSOM without registering for the TEXSOM conference.
